Berhampore (pronounced [bɑ:(h)ərəmˌpʊə]) is a city and a municipality in the state of West Bengal, India. As of the 2011 census,[1] it had a population of 305,609 and was the seventh largest city in West Bengal (after Kolkata, Asansol, Siliguri, Durgapur, Bardhaman and Malda).
